Digitization is the primary way to achieve more efficient production processes. Modern technology infrastructures such as websites, applications, servers, networks, sensors, mobile devices and, production facilities are constantly generating massive amounts and a large variety of data streams.
This data is the most valuable basis on the way to automated and connected manufacturing. The use of current edge and cloud technologies, artificial intelligence as well as analytical and methodical expertise not only allows data to be collected, monitored and visualized, but also to be evaluated with regard to specific issues and actions to be derived. By doing so, one can create decisive added value for manufacturing companies - no matter in which industry and no matter whether they are medium-sized companies or global players.
These visions are no longer mere dreams of the future, but have already been implemented, realized and lived in numerous places. This is not only due to innovative and courageous companies, but also to an untiring exchange of knowledge such as at the Innovation Forum for Automation.
